Pitchfork is reporting that Nathan Williams will be making a trip to the Triangle soon and we can't think of a better spot (ahem...Kings) to hear his fuzzed-out lo-fi stylinz.

After their acclaimed self-titled sold out last year, the Vivian Girls ventured down to the Old North State to play BCHQ. It was to a small crowd, partly because of the low profile and limited space of the venue, and partly because they were still ahead of the blogs-generated hype. Oh, and there was some Airing Of Grievances. The sound was shitty as expected, but it's a rare show where you can stand around with fans of the music (and those newly discovering it) without the kids who torrented the LP the day before jumping down front ruining the vibe.

This should sell out. Everyone's meeting at TGI Friday's before the show.
